Job Vacancies
BCRA Treasurer. Our Treasurer, Dave Gough, has indicated that he would like to step down at the end of this year, so we are seeking a new treasurer for the Association. The treasurer is responsible for book-keeping, preparing the annual accounts and liaising with the Charity Commission. Even if you have no experience of the issues involved in being the Treasurer of a charity, it is still possible that you could help with the simpler task of book-keeping. It is also desirable for there to be a "hand-over" period. If you are interest in volunteering - at any level - please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that this job is for a volunteer - there is no payment.

Cave Studies Series Editor wanted. BCRA publishes an occasional series of booklets - the Cave Studies Series. For many years, Dave Judson was the Series editor. Dave has now stepped down and we are seeking a replacement. We do not want to be too prescriptive in what we are asking for and, rather than Editor, it may be that we are seeking a Project Manager. If you have book-editing skills and are interested in managing book publication projects, please read the description at http://bcra.org.uk/pub/cs_editor.html. We are looking for someone who is willing to take on a senior role that involves both managing the projects and doing most of the editing and layout work. Needless to say, there is no payment for this post.
