The next of our monthly online seminars takes place on Monday 10 May at 19.30 BST. This series of talks takes place on the second Monday of each month, in support of the International Year of Caves and Karst (IYCK). Monday's talk is "Aspects of cave history from the very ancient to the very recent", with: Linda Wilson, Honorary Research Fellow, University of Bristol; Graham Mullen, University of Bristol Spelaeological Society.

Cave & Karst Science 48(1)
Cave & Karst Science 48(1) was mailed on Monday, so it should be on your doorsteps soon. Apologies for the slight delay in publication. It is now online and available for download. See http://bcra.org.uk/cks . Please note that if you have not renewed your BCRA membership by now, you will not have been on the mailing list (although non-member subscribers were on the list and will be invoiced soon).

Membership Renewals
The membership team is short-staffed at the moment, due to Wendy Williams' illness. Therefore we have temporarily suspended the issuing of membership cards, and that includes your BCRA card with the online ID on it. That means that, when you renew, you are advised to pay online so that a new ID is issued automatically. If you pay "offline" by cheque or bank transfer there is likely to be a delay before your application is processed. Any difficulties - please email membership@bcra.org.uk
