The whole of this area of the passage has incredible calcite formations, including whitewashed boulders and whitewashed gypsum crystals. The origin of these is not fully understood, and cryogenic process may be involved.

d. Angular boulders in a breakdown section of a phreatic passage (seems to be at the limit of permafrost freeze-thaw action since the main passage still has phreatic arches rather than breakdown)

These are in the same beds and same CCC deposit as the ones at the end of Morgannwg Passage. The good thing is that these have no access restrictions (meaning that the deposits in Morgannwg Passage can be safely ignored, without missing out on a deposit group).
