You may be asking, why has the Forest of Dean been placed with North Wales instead of South Wales?
The reason is because there are far more opportunities to find cryogenic cave calcites in South Wales than there are in the Forest of Dean. Those caving in South Wales would therefore have an unfair advantage over the Forest of Dean cavers. CCCs are unlikely to be found in North Wales, but there is a small possibility, hence it is included here with the Forest of Dean.
