Sad news the long time CDG chairman (until he stood down in April) and stalwart of the CDG passed away on 12th, he will be much missed as a character as well as innovator within cave diving.

Sad news indeed. He was taken far too soon.
The best talk I ever went to at Hidden Earth was given by Scoff and Dave Ryall about there cave diving exploits, serious in parts, hilarious in others.
My other favourite memory is a late night sing-song at the Bradford where Scoff lead the song, I can't remember the lyrics, where each time you sing the chorus you sing it in a higher voice. I was in stitches.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
