BCRA Cave Science Symposium - ABSTRACTS, Sat. 27 Nov 2021

### This is a REMINDER to submit your ABSTRACTS by Thursday 30th September 2021 ###

Abstracts are welcome for posters or oral presentations on any topic of cave or karst-based research, and these should be submitted by email no later than 30th September 2021, to symposium@bcra.org.uk using the form available at https://bcra.org.uk/forum in the topic "BCRA Symposium 27th November 2021".

Presentation slots are not limited to those with a connection to the UK - this invitation is to all interested cave and karst scientists worldwide. We will accept presentations in person at the event or via a Zoom connection, details of which we will announce later.

This Symposium will be a live event at Hulland Ward village hall, near Ashborne (postcode DE6 3EG) in Derbyshire (Covid restrictions permitting). The event will be streamed live, via Zoom.

BCRA AGM Sat. 27 Nov 2021

BCRA's AGM will take place during a break in the Science Symposium at 12:00 to 13:00. Details will be posted to bcra.org.uk/agm a few weeks before the event.

Cave & Karst Science vol 48(2)

There were some further delays at our printers but, if you live in the UK, and subscribe to the printed edition, it should have been delivered by now. If you live outside the UK, delivery could take another two weeks. If you live in the EU, please see our notice about import duty in the August news at https://bcra.org.uk/forum

Back issues of C&KS and the CREG journal

Back issues of Cave & Karst Science and the CREG journal are available and we have a special offer to caving clubs, libraries and academic institutions, who can fill any missing spaces in their collections for free, although donations are always welcome of course.

Also, please note that individual members who join BCRA mid-year will, generally, not be sent any back-issues of C&KS that they might be owed, but which they didnt receive due to their late renewal. The reason for this is just that it is an additional admin task to remember to check. All you have to do, if you are missing issues from earlier in the year is ask to have them sent to you.

The Karst and Caves of Morecambe Bay by Phillip MURPHY (ed.)

This book has been available online and on paper for a couple of years. The bibliography on page 137 of the book, taken from Ashmead's typed notes, was incomplete. The missing material (a single page) is now available as a download from https://bcra.org.uk/gen01
