Ogof Craig a Ffynnon

Post by tarquinwj » Sun 17 Dec 2017 22:30

a. Ogof Craig a Ffynnon
b. Immediately after Fourth Boulder Choke
c. White beads, some hollowed out, white and yellow aggregations of small beads
d. Wet mud, layered on top of older mud and angular boulders, in a very large breakdown passage
e. Pictures attached
f. Wet mud is more recent than the potential-CCC development, and has covered them completely. It has been washed off only in a few places by drips from the ceiling, revealing the potential-CCCs. 321363,213896. Approximately 123 metres below surface.

(With thanks to user "Marroscaver" for the help on the trip where I discovered these formations.)

Not so sure about this set - it could be selenite/gypsum, or some other mineral. However, it sits on the right mud...
