Donations wanted by the British Caving Library

The British Caving Library (BCL) has a good collection of BCRA publications, both in its prime library holdings and available for sale (or for supply for the cost of postage), as listed on the BCRA website. However, there are some issues of these and pre-BCRA publications that are absent or in short supply in stock, sometimes arising from shorter print runs. The BCL would therefore be very pleased to accept such issues as donations, if they are no longer required at home. To avoid postage and packaging charges, these and any other donations could be handed over at BCRA meetings or in person at the BCL by prior arrangement on a Wednesday. As with all donations to the BCL, these are accepted on the basis that the BCL can decide how best to use each item. In this case, this may include use to fulfil journal exchange requirements or to supplement sales stocks. The journal issues that are particularly wanted are listed below. Please look through your personal collections, and consider giving any of these to a good home, if no longer required.

Speleology: Issues 3, 10/11, 12, 14, 15

Don't know if it's of any interest but I said I'd pass it on…
I've had a call today from someone with some old cave surveys and OS maps showing the locations of caves that have come into his possession.
He says he has two dated/published 1915 and 1916 from Ireland (seemed to be OS maps with caves on - in the Dublin Bay area???)
1930s and later surveys and maps(?) he didn;t really know what they were but it sounded like there could be both maps and surveys.
They were of Welsh caves - OFD, Dan yr Ogof? and some others.
I think he'd like to sell (rather than donate) them.
Is this of any interest? I can pass on his phone number if it is.
