Calcite rafts?

Post by raft_hunter » Mon 02 Mar 2015 20:23

I am a researcher studying calcite rafts. As part of my project, I am doing an inventory of all locations worldwide where rafts have been found. So far, most of the locations I have found documented are in the United States, Mexico, Spain, and Australia. Where have you seen calcite rafts?

Calcite rafts look like a thin white or off-white film that covers the water table.

Hi. This forum is not widely read, unfortunately. You should consider, if you have not already done so, posting to BCRA's Facebook page or Twitter feed, or to the Cave Science board at UK Caving Forum.
