a. Lancaster Hole
b. Cornes Cavern, left side of central depression (when coming from Lancaster), about 30 metres away from The Minarets
c. Yellow and white angular crumbs and flakes
d. Angular rocks in a V-shaped breakdown passage
e. Pictures to follow
f. 367060,480790, 80 metres below surface
Spent carbide patches litter the cave, which makes searching quite tedious. Much fossil passage is subject to occasional extreme flooding which covers everything at lower altitudes in mud. Humid atmosphere which causes redissolving of calcite. Most of the passage has not been conserved, and there is heavy foot traffic in all locations. Very little chance of finding further deposits, though there may be a few high level breakdown chambers that have survived the onslaught.
