UK Caving.com Forum

Post by axbridgecaver » Tue 16 Jan 2007 19:23

The UK Caving Forum was up and running this afternoon but now it has been replaced with another site - it appears that its domain registration has expired.

The UKCaving forum is still working 100% fine if you are a Mozilla Firefox user; it appears to be a problem for Internet Explorer users.

However, as there are only 3 people presently logged in to UKCaving it's a bit quiet!..... I guess no-one else can get on board for the reasons cited in this thread.
Despite my user name I am now no longer the CSCC C&A Numpty. Instead I am just a plain unexciting caver once more so you can stop buttonholing me now; ta.

It is not the browser, I am using firefox. The domain name expired yesterday and was not renewed.

I think the fact that some people are able to still see the site is to do with domain name propagation. Your ISP has still not updated it's domain registry, when it does then you too will no longer have access.

Even if the domain is now renewed it could take up to 72 hours to get everyone back.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms already, any one want to go caving...
