Cotswold Caves

Post by AMW » Sun 21 May 2017 11:24

A visit to Igloo and Railing rift no change in Railing rift after a scrabble around. Igloo extension :-) was revisited and seemed less lose! A way on in the floor was found by a new member to the Cotswold cave exploration group C A Mera when CAM descended a rift at the back of the chamber. This proved a difficult return and Phil had to help CAM out. Although a way on could be seen at the base of the rift so we shall return.

A few photographs of work in some Cotswold Gull caves going back to 2013 to this summer (2017) Caves are Igloo cave, Railing Rift and Aven de Bagpath Igloo and Bagpath have both been extended and we have around 60M of new cave to survey and continue digging for more (2018). Digging season is April to late July and access via a permit for those dates as all are on private land.
