New lock on Fairy Cave Quarry car park

Post by David Cooke » Mon 06 Feb 2006 01:03

The C & A Officer reports that the combination lock on the caver's car park has been replaced with the CSCC padlock.

You now need a key to use the car park, so please don't forget to collect one before travelling to East Mendip.

Forgetting the key and having to return to the hut to collect it used to be an ideal caving avoidance scheme!
Under these circumstances a timely reminder is most unwelcome! :D

Not wanting to unnecessarily take credit for something I didn't do (not like me, eh!) it's worth pointing out that someone else actually sorted out the broken padlock at FCQ and I suspect it was JA who does a lot over in that neck of the woods; thanks J!
