Sorry, but all access to Long Rake Mine is suspended for the present owing to the presence of CARBON MONOXIDE encountered on 24 May 2008.

The matter is being investigated but at present the source is not known.

The lower crawl in Suicide Cave has now collapsed completey and is no longer accessible.

The pitch route is fully accessible to all who want to visit the further reaches of the cave.
